TYPES OF MASTER POINTS

 LOCAL POINTS

Local points are issued at your club.

Local points are issued at Congresses, they will be written in Black ink.

Local points are issued at Area Championships. 

GREEN OR NATIONAL POINTS

Green points are issued at some Congresses, they will be written in Green or sometimes Red ink.

Green points are issued at One Day Green Point events.

Green points are issued at National and Area Championships.

 NOVICE POINTS

Novice points are issued at beginners’ classes.

 GOLD POINTS

Gold points are not issued but are calculated - One gold point is awarded to

players who earn 5 or more green (or national) points in a single event.

 EUROPEAN POINTS

            EBL points are awarded to the leading players in certain National events.

 ONLINE POINTS

            Online points are issued by the EBU to players in the Online Bridge Club.
