FAQS for members
1 Are other Home Union points the same as WBU
points
There is a reciprocal agreement with the EBU, SBU, NIBU and CBAI
that any master points issued by those organisations are fully interchangeable with those issued by the WBU
2 Can I
register American Contract Bridge League points
No, there is no reciprocal arrangement with the ACBL
3 Do points
have a shelf life
Yes, master points should be registered within three years of date of issue.
4 Have you got
my points
You can find out whether I have your points by one of the following methods:
A) telephone me
(my number is in the Journal or on your MP Record Card) but please not before 10 a.m. or after 10 p.m.
B) E-mail me (My address is in the Journal)
C) Look on this website.
First find your WBU number, if you don't already know it.
Then look at the Master Point Status Log.
You will then see a list of the WBU ID numbers, in alphanumerical order, of those whose master points have been received by me, with the status of their MP claim, i.e. when the points were received or posted back, etc. If you cannot find yourself in the list, after allowing time for the post, please contact
me
Also you will see if directly credited points have been received and actioned, and the current queue backlog.

12 I have lost some master points, is there any way I can
get a replacement
If your points have been lost at your club your MP secretary will usually be able to issue a replacement certificate.
If your points have been lost in the post, provided you have kept a record of those sent I should be able to track down records of them from the counterfoils sent back to me by your club MP secretary.
